(Existing Members who are registered with the Association prior to 2013)

Membership shall be opened to Malaysian citizens and non-Malaysian citizens holding a Permanent Resident status above the age 25 years old and who are qualified and involved in the practice of the TIM in Malaysia. Full Practicing Members shall have voting rights and can stand to be elected for the position of office bearers of the Association.

Membership shall be opened to Malaysian citizens and non-Malaysian citizens holding a Permanent Resident status above the age 25 years old and who are qualified and involved in the practice of the TIM in Malaysia. Associate Practicing Members shall not be represented, represent and not be a member in any other association related to or involved in TIM in Malaysia. Associate Practicing Members may have voting rights after two years of being registered with the Association. The Committee shall have the prerogative to deny, suspend or revoke the voting rights of any of the Associate Practicing Members without assigning any reason thereto and the decision of the Committee shall be final.

Membership shall be opened to Malaysian citizens and non-Malaysian citizens holding a Permanent Resident status above the age 25 years old and who are qualified and involved in the practice of the TIM in Malaysia. Any applicant who was represented or was a member in PEPTIM or any other association related to or involved in TIM in Malaysia prior to joining the Association may be considered to be an Affiliate Practicing Member. An Affiliate Member is admitted to the Association by reason that he has no other association or organization related to TIM to represent him. Affiliate Practicing Members shall not stand for office bearers and shall have no voting rights.

Membership shall be opened to Malaysian citizens and no-Malaysian citizens holding a permanent Resident status above the age 25 years old, local and foreign companies who are traders or wholesalers, involved in the import and export of raw herbs and/or traditional medicinal plants and herbs, or production of traditional medicines (which are duly registered and approved by Biro Pengawalan Farmaseutikal Kebangsaan (“BPFK”)), wellness centers, TIM clinics or spas, solely or in joint venture with any company or non-governmental body in Malaysia. Trading Members shall not stand for office bearers and shall have no voting rights.

Membership shall be opened to expatriates (with valid work permits approved by Department of Immigration, Malaysia) above the age of 25 years and are holders of certificate, diploma or degree related to TIM from recognized institution of higher learning, qualifying them to practice as doctors, therapists, instructors and other positions related to TIM. Expatriate Members shall not stand for office bearers and shall have no voting rights.

Membership shall be opened to Malaysian citizens and non-Malaysian citizens above the age 21 years residing in Malaysia who are interested and keen in knowing TIM. Interested Members shall not stand for office bearers and shall have no voting rights.

• All interested members will be eligible for a discount to be determined by the committee for all events organized by Peptim.
• News letter once it is organized will be sent to all members.
• Members will be allowed Access to peptim website.
• Members will be notified first of events organized by Peptim before the public.

Members of long-term standing who have distinguished themselves in any branch of TIM or rendered any conspicuous service to the Association or retired from professional practice after long service to TIM. This membership is opened but not limited to lecturers, instructors, non-governmental bodies, advisors and patrons of Malaysian citizen or non-Malaysian citizens. Fellow members shall not stand for office bearers and shall have no voting rights.
